THANKS JANE This bass was caught on a line by a local fisherman here in North Wales. It was caught on the Menai Stait. Bass are my favourite fish to print the definition you get on the scales is wonderful. This diptych is printed on Chinese mulberry paper and each panel measures approx 35x35cm. The same fish has been printed here

Cornish John Dory

Each time you make a print there is a risk the sardine will split leaking oil or you might not align it correctly and then the fish can unintentionally overlap

it's wet mounted using the traditional Japanese method of a flour paste

Manufactured in the UK from 100% cotton these items will work beautifully together in any kitchen

It was caught in the Menai Strait

The print is in my classic dark blue and gold inks

Like a lobster it's much more 3 dimensional than a fish so there is a lot of work to do making sure things don't slip and slide around
