This painting was a sketch that I did for a larger acrylic work that involved bright yellow Larch trees that are common in the fall. The bright yellow of the changing leaves stands out vibrantly against the dark blue greens around them. This painting would do well in a frame, and would make a wonderful colourful addition to any space! 8x10

I was trying out a new inflatable paddle board that I got this past summer

and is the reason for this title

I was hoping to get the perspective of sunlight hitting the trees that have just changed to yellow

Trying to train my eye to get the exact codours in a place is a skill that I am constantly working on
