Menai Strait Pollock A3We walk our dogs past the Menai Strait everyday. Rob, who's a keen fisherman and lives on the waterfront, knows I print. He ran out after me one day with a small bag containing this pollock. Pollock are plentiful in the local water and they are a member of the Cod family. So it has three fins across the top and two on the bottom. These are quite fleshy compared to a bass or bream, which makes them quite tricky to print from. They retract much faster

The following day I use the traditional Japanese technique of Uruachi to make the print flat enough to be put into a frame
