1977 Greco Japan JB500S 70's Reissue Jazz Bass (Sunburst)

1977 Greco Japan JB500S 70's Reissue Jazz Bass (Sunburst)Made in Japan in 1977, the JB500S aimed at replicating Fender's 70's Jazz Bass. Basswood body with a maple neck and bound maple fingerboard (with black block inlays), it weighs 4. 2kg's. Loaded with the original Maxon pickups and Japanese pots wiring, this one's missing the bridge cover and the pickguard otherwise it appears to be all original. Heavy natural relic on this one as it's in true players grade condition with plenty of bumps and bruises

With a wide array of blended shift/delay effects possible with a little tweaking and experimentation

Top - Solid Sitka Spruce

previous owner kept it in a case for most of it's life

the neck has a very slight twist but is still perfectly playable and has a functional truss

restrung prior to listing with a basic setup and service

Made for Washburn by the Yamaki factory in Japan

we've supplied pictures to show that they fit most Japanese Fender models though

a Short Tracer single-coil in the middle and an aftermarket Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge

Back (or Feedback) knob controls the amount of repeats of the delay or warps the octave tone (depending on the mode)
