Lot 108 - Antique Figural Majolica Pitcher, Bearded Guard With Pewter Base, Circa Late 19th / Early 20th Century, 7" HPre Auction Notes: Charming antique figural majolica pitcher depicting a stern, bearded guard or military figure with a rounded belly and ornate uniform. Richly detailed in high relief, the figure wears a plumed cap, epaulets, and a draped green sash, with both hands resting on his stomach. Vivid polychrome glazes in brown, cobalt blue, green, and ochre highlight the intricate modeling. The pitcher is finished with a twisted rope style handle and

This silver plated water pitcher with lid was produced by Reed and Barton out of Boston for the Knights of Columbus and is engraved KC 1937 on one side

We have not individually inspected each record
