Anthurium warocqueanum “Narrow Form”

Anthurium warocqueanum “Narrow Form”This form is from Colombia. A. warocqueanum is referred to as the queen of the aroids, and there is validity to that. This species large leaves patterned with white veins make it a real showstopper. The available plant is an established import with a sizable healthy root system (see third photo). Plant pictured in all photos is the actual one for sale.

This species is similar to the closely-related Cattleya walkeriana but differs in leaf count per pseudpbulb

These are blooming size

Near blooming size to bloom size seedlings of this miniature Vandaceous species from Taiwan

but these have grown very well for me in intermediate to warm conditions

I cannot guarantee pot is filled with roots

Plant is rooted in 2" pot

at which time it will kind of scramble

I have grown this species in terraria

Note there is some discoloration of old leaves on some of the plants

Use a chunky bark mix for media with these and add some inorganics such as perlite or fired clay aggregate to enhance drainage
