Bart, Chambertin Clos De Beze(from a . 44 ha parcel with vines that were originally planted in 1904 though there has been a significant amount of replanting since). Discreet but not invisible wood influence easily allows the overtly spicy and floral inflected red currant and dark pinot fruit aromas to shine. The succulent and slightly denser larger scaled flavors also possess noticeably better depth on the highly persistent and well balanced finale. Good stuff and I like the

earth and sauvage hints add considerable depth to the dark berry fruit and cassis aromas

this offers a cooling herbal and chalky side while at the same time practically gaudy confitured and tropical flavors

classy and focused medium full flavors that offer good richness and ample finishing punch and power

Creamy finish of moderate length

I want wines that have a place to go – ones whose precious incipient aromatics turn into bottle bouquet and that have more aging potential
