This rod came to me from a mutual friend of both Tom Maxwell and mine who originally bought it from Maxwell in the early 1990's
The spool diameter is 4" with a spool width of 1
The nickel silver ferrules are size 15/64 with an excellent fit
Card is signed by Keith and comes in a small plastic case
This particular reel comes from the estate of master reel maker from Maine
or WF9 + 300 yds 20#
Made in 1970
having been masterfully restored by Steve Blake
Incoming click and outgoing cork disc drag
Classic cap and ring reel seat over a mortised maple spacer
The sleeve ferrules fit nice and tight as they should
The cigar grip measures 6" in length with mild soiling
